Unfinished Stories

As I write my novels, novellas, or essays, I will draft short stories or blog posts on other platforms, that I’ll share here from time to time.

Sometimes I can be proud of the short unfinished stories, other times, I’ll just want to air them out.

Big trouble in Little America I guess…

Another day of news headlines & the music I’ve been listening to is wonderful by the way.

Listen to music when you read the news, it makes it easier to digest.

I’ve got something playing an arpeggio at 432 HZ & it’s sort of euphoric.

These are quotes that helped shape my life as an adult with the help of Monsignor J. Terrance Fitzgerald Vicar General of Salt Lake Diocese till January 2026 & Father Peter Do O.P. of the Western Domican Provence, Father Peter is destined to be a Prior one day.

I summed the quotes from the Bible up with a quote from Marcus Aurelius that I had read in my early 20’s.

The idea to rearrange the quotes in this way came from Thomas Jefferson & the Jefferson Bible which I first read in my late 20’s.

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

St. Matthew 7:6

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

St. Matthew 5:13–14

"You should watch the stars in their courses as if you were running along with them: and constantly consider the changes of the elements into each other. Such thoughts purge away the filth of life on Earth."

"Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them."

Emperor Marcus Aurelius of Rome

On New Years Day:

The gods will not do for you, what you will not do for yourself.

We believe in the names of the days of the week, and the week always begins on Sunday.

Carpe Diem

Allons-y ! C’est maintenant ou jamais !

Sieze the day!
